The Breakdown
Perhaps the most gimmicky cigar ever thought of, the CAO vision is about the most ridiculous regular production cigar to come on the market besides the Drew Estate “Egg”. The difference. The Egg was made to be absurd.
The sample smoked looked like a pre-built piece of ikea furniture. Filled with flaws, the wrapper was bumpy, veiny, and discolored throughout. The cigar itself was spongy in spots and what felt empty in others. Surprisingly it burned very well despite throwing up an abundant amount of ash after every inhale.
The flavor of this cigar changes aggressively between 2 opposite ends of the spectrum. There are times where I felt I was licking the underbelly of a moss covered tree, and then there were times where I felt like I was rolling in prairie full of daisies. For a brief moment I thought I was actually having a stroke, thinking the end was near. Neither of the desired earthy or sweet notes lasted long, meaning most of the cigar was void of any pronounced flavors.
Coming in at an original cost of $12.00 per stick, there is no doubt this cigar is grossly overpriced, however remember you are mostly paying for the disco lit monstrosity “humidor” these cigars
