The Breakdown
Another Brain child from the great mind of Steve Saka and named after his favorite fishing lake, the Umbagog doesn’t wade in calm waters. If you have already experienced a Saka creation, you come in with a preconceived idea of what this cigar will bring. Construction of this cigar was actually better than expected given that this is a value cigar using tobacco not suited for the more premium blends in Saka’s portfolio. The burn on this cigar was as expected and really nothing to mention it terms of oddities or surprises. Where this cigar lacked a little bit for us was in the flavor. It didn't turn us off but it also didn’t entertain us either, but what do you expect when you pay $7.00 for this cigar? This is really just us being Hypercritical and there is no doubt this cigar is a good value.
