The “Pulse” named for the connection Ohana has to friends and family that allow their existence to thrive, we checked to see if it lived up to the family standard.

This was a truly beautiful and well constructed cigar, even including the cute little pigtail cap. Unfortunately some challenges occurred with the burn, causing 3 consecutive relights that undoubtedly compromised the intended flavors of the cigar.

Speaking of flavors, this stick starts off fairly peppery but quickly blends into a very soft, sweet, enjoyable, and consistent flavor, but also one that is fairly static.

What you get is moderately enjoyable experience for the $9.00 you will pay. Had it not been for the burn issues, I suspect the flavors would have been more apparent and gratifying.

Ohana Cigars is the creation of Myself, Ryan Rodriguez, with the help and support of my father who is my investor as well as partner and stake holder in the company. I have been involved in some shape or form with cigars since I was 22. The first time I smoked a cigar, I found a new love, something that allowed me to sit, relax and as time went by, become part of what I now call family. Cigar smokers are a different breed, we can sit in a room, all walks of life with different political beliefs, different religions, and different personalities, but we have a common bond, cigars.
