Well this is exciting to say the least. It has been far too long since I have smoked a Crux cigar and I dug deep in my humidor to find this Guild and thought “Why not put this on paper”. So here we go!

Construction - I was shocked and also pleased that through the beating this cigar has taken over the few years I have had it, that it is still in amazing condition. Minus a little bit of a cap peel, this cigar has aged like Pharrelle on all the HGH and looks better than ever.

Burn - The burn on this cigar was even and consistent from beginning to end. The draw was just a tad bit tight at the start but opened up quickly and provided wonderful smoke production while consistently exhausting that really nice layered ash.

Flavor - Although I usually don’t define cigars by their boldness, this cigar is in fact a FULL bodied cigar. It’s not even subjective. It is meaty. Beef… It’s what’s for dinner. It is like a butcher cut up some premium ribeye and layered it with all of the pepper and spice. This cigar really offers up a nice savoriness, and pepper being the main component only with a hint of sweetness in the background. It is actually a nice and refreshing departure from most cigars I have smoked as of recent.

Highly recommended.

The best part? You will only pay about 8.00 for this cigar, which in my opinion makes it a good deal, especially if you like a peppery richness in your cigars.
