The Breakdown
Up until recently, getting my hands on an MBombay cigar was challenging to say the least, so of course I was excited when I finally got a hold of the Corojo Oscuro.
The first thing that stands out on this cigar is the label, which is comprised of some beautiful art work, but undoubtedly obnoxious in size and if that isn't bad enough, there is a sub label that lies just beneath. Aside from that, the construction was fairly on par minus a few soft spots towards the middle and foot of the cigar.
Unfortunately I experienced far too many challenges as it concerns pitting and relights, which certainly compromised the wonderful sweet, tangy, and overall delightful flavor of this smoke. Had it not been for those issues, this would have been an exemplary smoke and perhaps I could have gotten more of that lovely Peruvian tobacco I so yearn for. $7.00 is the price paid for this smoke and had it not been for the trials of the burn, this medium bodied cigar would have certainly been exceptional.
