What I can say for sure about the Cedrus is that it is built like a brick shit house. Flawless in terms of production and construction, this cigar is one that looks great from the outside. The sample smoked proved to have an effortless draw and provided that beautiful amber orange peak when ashed. The burn of this cigar was certainly superior. Where the cigar lacked for me however was in the flavor. Southern Draw isn't shy about suggesting this cigar is spice heavy, but for me it was just too over the top. I was hoping and expecting at least a subtle change but was disappointed that it fell short of that want. Coming in at $12.00 I personally felt that this cigar is overpriced for what you get, but I will preface that if you really enjoy bold spice, your opinion may differ.

Hot Ticket Score

You can get your hands on this cigar for just around $8.00 which makes it a pretty damn good deal. There isn’t anything challenging about this cigar, so in terms of recommendation, but really feel there are some out there that may find this cigar to not be in their wheelhouse. If you do grab one, do yourself a favor… Drink it in the morning with a good cup of coffee. You won't regret it.
