This cigar is near and dear to our hearts for many reasons. Like the Tennessee Waltz, and Texas Yellow Rose, The Buckeye Land is yet another Crowned Heads state exclusive. This one was produced for the great state of Ohio which is where we were both born, raised, and continue to reside. Being a state exclusive is really the only thing this smoke has in common with the others. This little brother manages to stand all on his own.
This is the very first cigar that Crowned Heads and Willy Herrera from Drew Estate have partnered on and that alone should tickle your fancy. Construction and burn were exactly as anticipated from a W.H. creation. A beautiful thick wrapper with complimentary dense fillers give this cigar a true high end premium look and feel. Be warned, this cigar starts of strong bringing spiked punch to the party along with a set of road spikes to slam you in the face.
Don’t let that scare you though, this cigar is incredibly enjoyable, often changing it up, offering something different and unique throughout the smoking experience. $9.50 is what you will pay per stick which is right in line with the other state exclusives, but in our opinion this cigar is a fantastic value in comparison to others that share similar attributes on the market.
Crowned Heads is influenced by a time when quality, pride, and integrity mattered. We strive to bring our vision to reality and invite you to live in our world. We are not here to do it like everyone else. When the rules don’t make sense to us, we carve our own path.
